Mental Health,and the Workplace

Have you ever been in a situation when youre always trying to do so many different tasks

at work,staying late working OT! Youve been at this place for just a little over a year,so youre

trying to make a lasting impression ,not just for your boss but for the entire team! Than 2 weeks

go by and your noticing that your eating habits have changed and youre getting frequent headaches!

You call your doctor for an appointment and tell your boss the next morning you need to leave early

next Monday to see your doctor!

It is no longer a stigma now to have mental health issues,such as anxiety,depression,or other complications! It can take years to finally find the right specialist and the right medication to take.

There is never anything wrong if you need to take a break,for awhile especially if it means you are

getting migraine attacks and youre also vomiting!

You need to be healthy again not only for your working life,but for your family as well if you have one!

This can be the biggest mistake of all to neglect your health for any kind of work,and than one day you

regret it by ending up in a hospital bed! Our body will always give us clues on when its time you need to

slow down and give yourself a break,especially when you need medication!

With a recent mental health crisis that has started 2 years ago,I just cant believe it was a stigma all these years,when its a very important part of everybody lives whether we admit to this or not!
